Godfather

Godfather cocktail

Type: Cocktail

The Godfather is a duo mixed drink made of amaretto and Scotch whisky. It is traditionally served over ice in an old-fashioned glass. The origins of the Godfather are not entirely clear but Disaronno, an Italian amaretto liqueur producer claim that the cocktail, which appeared sometime in the 1970s, was a favourite of Marlon Brando, who played Vito Corleone in The Godfather movies.
