The French Martini was invented in the 1980s in a Keith McNally′s New York City bar. The key ingredient that makes it a "French" Martini is the inclusion of a raspberry liqueur that has been produced in France since 1685.

Ingredients

  • 50ml vodka
  • 25ml Raspberry Liqueur
  • 35ml fresh pineapple juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Wedge of lime - to garnish

How to make

  1. Pour all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with some ice cubes
  2. Shake well and strain into a chilled cocktail glass
  3. Garnish with a wedge of lime
