A Whisky Mac, or to use its full name, a Whisky Macdonald, is a cocktail made with whisky and ginger wine. The whisky is traditional expected to be a Scotch whisky, and usually a blended type. The recipes vary from those that have equal parts of both ingredient to those that use a ratio of 3 to 2 of whisky to ginger wine.
The Whisky Mac is also known as "The Golfers′ Favourite" as apparently golfers drank them to ward off the cold after a chilly round of golf.View recipe
